Definitely my favorite thus far of the Italian espresso blends from Italy having sampled the lines from Kimbo, Lavazza, Bristot, and Miscela D'Oro.
If you pull this right, it tastes and drinks like melted chocolate and has none of the harsh robusta aftertaste that can ruin many Italian blends. This is well balanced, has great crema, thick, rich, and dark without harshness. At the same time, it retains the consistency that is the hallmark of Italian Espresso blends.
I like this pulled a little slower with 8g in 16g out, 196F in 35-40 seconds. If you're pulling on a lever espresso machine or can roll down the pressure towards the end of your shot, you will be in heaven.
