The end product obtained using this blend is the classic Italian Espresso. Body and chocolaty quality stand out thanks to the balanced use of superior Robusta beans together with the more delicate Arabica selections. This blend's fundamental feature is that it attains exceptional quality consistency regardless of the most varied conditions of use and of the environment.

I use the Essse Selezione Bar S beans with an Olympia Cremina. I find the combination of Arabian and Robusta beans provides an excellent espresso.
ESSSE is the best!!

There is no better coffee than ESSSE and I've had dozens of the "best." ESSSE is both rich and smooth and will peer. You'll not be disappointed whether you buy decaf or caffeinated.
The Best so Far

Best espresso I have found after 40 years of trying others.
Much better than anything at Fairway, I prefer to Illi and not ridiculous price. Much better than Mauro, Kimbo etc.
Discovered it after an article in NY Times about a cafe in the Bronx that serves the "best" espresso in NYC.

Over the years I have tried almost all the coffee brands and multiple mixtures. To my taste, I have preferred the Essse products (both regular and decaffeiniated). There are minor differences in their various Essse "quality" labels, mostly manifested by an increased espresso "cream" in the more expensive products. The taste is quite constant. Since my wife drinks only decaf coffee, her preference for espresso remains a mixture ---half Essse decaf/half Illi decaf.

Love it! It's more reasonably priced than what I had been using and rich and favorable.
