Cerini Coffee is simply an epic espresso emporium, in Little Italy in the Bronx, the fabled "Arthur Avenue", Mulberry in Manhattan has nothing on you!! The espresso bricks are always top quality imports,Mauro, Kimbo, Musetti, you name it-- reasonably priced and often cheaper in bulk, while the staff is as friendly as family. If you get $99 worth of stuff it's free delivery via Fedex and they send it out ASAP. We even had a problem with the Fedex guy getting lost and Cerini's was totally cool about it. It's just top notch in every sense of the word and at the same time, on a human scale. Do not buy amazon, do not buy Walmart, buy from Johnny. He's a real person. Really. We love you, Johnny. We did not get paid to say this. Was this helpful?

I searched for a while for "Italian roast" that tasted like coffee in Italy.
I finally went to an Italian deli and picked four different bags of moka-grind coffee.
This is the one that reminds me most of the coffee that I loved in Italy.
I am guessing that the 70% robusta coffee beans are what gives it its distinctive flavor; Americans seem to drink 100% Arabica.
I love this stuff! Was this helpful?
