Where has this been for 5 years? I've gone though 5 cheap Chinese replacements which were all that I could find. They literally melted! I thought there was something wrong with the machine.
This one here works to perfection. I did have to put it in left right not up down but it was a small adjustment , even for me.
Now I'll get another 20 )oops 30) years out of the Cremina.

Got my 1985 vintage Cremina back up and running, which is the important thing. Had to install it with the rocker switch going from right to left as this new switch is slightly rectangular, and would not fit into the cutout in faceplate in the original up/down orientation. No big deal, but it's not a perfect replacement for the original (which lasted 15 years or more). Hope I get a similar lifespan out of this one.
