The Cremina is a classic lever-operated espresso machine; no ifs, no buts. It works with the proven pre-infusion piston system: lifting the lever draws a small amount of water into the piston chamber and forces it into the pressed ground coffee, allowing it to expand. Lowering the lever forces the hot water through the ground coffee. This tried and tested extraction procedure, coupled with the continually increasing experience of the individual Cremina owner, guarantees a perfect espresso, a composition of crema, smell and taste—a harmonious pleasure for the senses. Even your ears will be delighted: the only noise produced by your Cremina is the singing, when the boiler heats the water.

This machine is art. Pretty to look at and sometimes hard to understand. But, put in the time you will get the satisfaction of making espresso at home that is far better than what you will get in all but best coffee shops in the world. Great customer service too!!!!!!
worth the money!

I was always skeptical about the hype for this machine but once I got one in my home I am a believer! You will not regret buying this machine.

My first Olympia lasted over 20 years with minor servicing. The new 2016 model is EVEN BETTER!
Dealing with Johnny Cerini is always a pleasure.
A Machine for Life

In my opinion the Olympia Cremina is the Ultimate Lever Espresso Machine. I have owned previous lower priced models and they are now all in landfills. Expensive? Not when you look at it in the broad view. It is highly unlikely that this machine will ever need to be packed and sent off to a Service Center. The only improvement I would like to see is a LED light to make viewing the water level gauge more easy, but I guess this might depart from its basic classical design.
Keep your Olympia

I bought one in 1979 and used it every day for 30 years. Never spent a cent on it and the coffee was superb every time. Like a jerk I got greedy and sold it on Ebay for, ready for this, $700. But some day I will own another one. New or used I don't care which.
