My son introduced me to Mauro Intenso 30% Arabica & 70% Robusta- Ground Espresso - 8.8oz Brick and after my husband tasted it one day he switched from another brand of coffee to Mauro because of the excellent flavor. Now we only serve "regurlar" coffee to guests who think they don't like or do not want try espresso -- their loss!

exquisite taste! made in Moka Pot (also from Cerini): complex taste profile (like fine wine) including rich dark coffe with subtle tobacco notes. Always the best from Cerini! -Second generation Italian American from Piamonte family.

This coffee is what I found when I was searching for "Italian roast" that tasted like what I tasted in Italy. Yum! I am guessing that the key ingredient is the high percentage of Robusta. I don't know how compatible it is with the American palate, but it's compatible with mine!
