Olympia Maximatic Group Gasket - 54mm Original OEM - 380254

Obviously way overpriced, but what are you gonna do when hostage to Olympia's odd 54mm size? The gasket itself is silicone (and thus a bit easy to nick or tear) a bit on the thick size, meaning it may be harder to lock in the portafilter after installing unless you have worn portafilter/group races. On the overhand it arrived quickly!

First attempt to install was done incorrectly. Called Johnny and he instructed me to remove the splash screen and heat sink block first, then install the gasket. That worked perfectly and now the portafilter makes a nice firm "lock" into the brew group. Can't say enough about Johnny's assistance in keeping my Maximatic in great working shape. Nothing like great espresso to start and finish each day; like being in Italy!!!

The gasket is fairly delicate - easy to break, and if it's silicone it's much less tough than other silicone group gaskets. It's also ridiculously expensive for a group gasket. On the other hand, Cerini customer service is fantastic, and most items are reasonably priced.
