    Helped with alignment

    This tool helped but more important is a beveled cap for the piston shaft to push through the center gasket. Had a really tough time actually had to bevel the shaft on a lathe a bit to get the shaft through. Definitely buy a piston cap in addition to the tool when installing the group head gasket kit.
